The Jamia Masjid Allah Hu Development Project is the progressive step in providing a modern purpose-built Masjid serving the local and national community. This project will be the realisation of the vision to provide a Centre of Spiritual Excellence meeting the needs of the Muslim community within the UK; providing a platform where Muslims can receive the correct teaching of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah. It will serve to facilitate a platform for the Muslims of the UK to receive guidance and prevent them from extremists. At present, society is faced with a problem where the youth have become disenchanted with Islam due to it’s portrayal by extremists. It has been recognised by many that the solution to tackling the current fervour of religious extremism is the promotion and facilitation Traditional Islamic Scholarship and the teachings of the Sufi Masters, as they are all inclusive and have provided a practical and successful solution to combatting this and many other social problems. The facility will be dedicated to the spiritual and social welfare of not only the residents of Blackburn but the wider Muslim community throughout the UK, including many visiting dignitaries. Its institutional purpose and function will be to empower and enable Muslims to achieve their true and full potential in their spiritual, educational, physical, social-economic and cultural aspirations, whilst inspiring them to play a participatory role in the development of the wider community. It will continue to serve as a cultural bridge fostering greater understanding between communities. The Masjid will have a strong educational component, providing an infrastructure and support for the teaching of the Scared Sciences of Islam.
